Description

IMS project’s general objective is to prepare participating countries, organisations and their beneficiaries for the challenges of Industry 4.0 by increasing their capacity to take part in the management of change and restructuring; assist undertakings to involve, inform and consult employees and employers while making use of the automation. The project aims to enhance participatory procedures in the metal sector, which will result in sharing best transnational practices among social partners; facilitate social partners engagement in decision-making to adapt to the new changes in the work organisation via information, consultation and participation mechanisms; create strong research and analysis to benefit the target groups representatives’ daily work, give impetus to the smooth transition by empowering employers and employees to come together and discuss the topical issues in frames of the International Workshop and Roundtable, National Workshops; Disseminate the created knowledge through comprehensive dissemination campaign; Besides, the project’s goal is to raise awareness about and contribute to the better application of EU legislation on employee participation in the metal sector. Thus, the project contributes to the objective a) of the Call.
